About the Role
Paragon is searching for an experienced Technical Recruitment Consultant to support hiring across core oil & gas disciplines. This role will work closely with Paragon’s leadership and technical stakeholders, providing specialist recruitment expertise for complex, operator-led projects.
The successful candidate will bring strong market knowledge of the Egyptian oil & gas sector and a proven ability to identify and engage high-quality technical professionals
Role: Technical Recruitment Consultant (Oil & Gas)
Location: Egypt (Remote)
Engagement: Consulting / Contract Basis
Language: Fluent English (required)
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver end-to-end recruitment support for technical oil & gas roles, including:
- Subsurface (Geoscience, Reservoir, Petrophysics)
- Drilling & Well Engineering
- Petroleum, Production, and Facilities Engineering
- Proactively source, assess, and engage qualified technical candidates
- Leverage strong knowledge of the Egyptian operator market
- Build and maintain a pipeline of technical talent
- Conduct candidate screening and initial technical assessments
- Partner with Paragon stakeholders to understand role requirements and hiring priorities
- Manage candidate communications throughout the recruitment process
- Provide market insight on talent availability and hiring trends
Required Experience & Skills
- Proven experience recruiting for technical roles within oil & gas
- Demonstrated exposure to recruiting for operators in Egypt (strongly preferred)
- Solid understanding of subsurface, drilling, and engineering disciplines
- Existing network within the Egyptian oil & gas talent market is an advantage
- Fluent / near-native English (spoken and written)
- Ability to work independently in a consulting capacity
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
