Paragon GE is looking for an Offshore Drilling Supervisor (Egyptian National) for a contract position with an E&P company in Egypt. This opportunity is only open for Egyptian nationals.

This is a contract position based offshore on a 28x28 rotation.

The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of offshore drilling experience and have a strong background within the Oil and Gas industry ideally with other E&P companies. Must have valid BOSIET, IWCF and have extensive experience with Offshore Drilling Projects and in particular with offshore jack-ups.

Required Experience:
  • Coordinating drilling and completion activities by the approved program, established oil field practices
  • Reporting to the drilling superintendent regularly on the progress of operations, and agree on any corrective action if necessary
  • Overseeing personnel, equipment and material safety at rig site operations
  • Ensuring contractor personnel, services and materials, are available at the rig site when required to avoid any delay in operations.
  • Ensuring all contractors maintain their equipment in good and safe working condition.
  • Monitoring the consumption and stock of materials available at the rig site, and requesting personnel, materials, and services in due time to avoid any delay in the operations.
  • Maintaining contact with all relevant contractor personnel to inform them of operational status and discuss relevant programs.
  • Serving as the official company representative at the rig site in all matters
  • Participating as a member of the emergency task force in the event of a blow-out or other major emergency
  • Leading, in emergencies, the necessary means to safeguard personnel, the environment, equipment, and the wellbore, according to existing plans.
  • Extensive experience in drilling, completion of gas wells
  • Knowledge of Drilling and Well Testing Operations.
  • Drilling systems and hazards (loss circulation, shallow pressurized gas formations,).
  • Advanced drilling and well testing operational techniques.
  • Gravel Pack.
  • Well Bore Stability/Sand Control
  • Good knowledge of English

Qualification
  • +10 years Supervising Drilling Operations in lieu.
  • Valid IWCF
  • Valid Bosiet
