Paragon GE is looking for an experienced French speaking IT Project Delivery Manager who can join our client in Port Gentil, Gabon on an Expatriate assignment of 24 months. This is a residential assignment, based in Port Gentil which attracts an excellent tax-free remuneration package, in addition to other benefits.

Responsibilities
In this capacity, you will play a critical role in evolving and transforming the delivery of IT services for the client and will lead the delivery of IT priority projects through hands-on technical and operational activities in an agile and fit-for-purpose manner.
At the start of your assignment, you can expect to spend a couple of weeks in London. During this time, you will become acquainted with our client’s wider business, gain a better understanding of the IT strategy, and learn how the key IT objectives have a wider impact on our company objectives and therefore allow you to measure your impact.
Once settled in Gabon, in addition to leading the delivery of critical projects and key IT operational services, you will also dedicate time to ensure your team is upskilled and they have adequate resources to deliver a fit-for-purpose IT support.
Requirements
To be successful in this capacity, you must have technical expertise in: ITSM and ITOM optimisation, in addition to general experience in supplying IT services and managing IT in an evolving business. You must also demonstrate previous experience:
· in a similar role with a split focus between the hands-on delivery of objectives, and coaching/developing team members.
· managing, coaching, and coordinating teams to deliver projects on time and within budget in a multicultural environment and with geographically dispersed teams.
· carrying out improvements incrementally with a pragmatic approach
You are an excellent communicator, with fluency in both English and French and enjoy working in an agile manner, to deliver pragmatic and fit-for-purpose solutions to the business.
Whilst not required, we acknowledge that having previous experience working in the extractives industry in Africa is a distinctive advantage, as you would be accustomed with the type of challenges you will be solving during your assignment with our client.
