Paragon GE is looking for a HSEQ Manager for a staff position with an Oil & Gas EPC company in Houston, USA.

The HSEQ Manager must have a minimum of fifteen (15) years working experience in the Oil and Gas industry, with ten (10) years in an offshore role, and five (5) years in management role.

Candidates must have experience with the offshore Oil & Gas EPCI industry and have the right to work in the US.

JOB PURPOSE
The HSEQ Manager is expected to lead and guide the Quality and HSE teams with a clear mandate — which is to eliminate incidents, losses, and all Quality non-conformances at all stages of the projects and operations

KEY ACCOUNTABILITY
  • Demonstrate a personal commitment to safety at work.
  • Establish zero tolerance for unsafe behaviour.
  • Review and constructively evaluate HSEQ readiness plan for projects and assets prepared by the respective leads and provide guidance and feedback.
  • Conduct periodic reviews of the HSEQ deliverables with each project leads.
  • Assess and allocate appropriate HSEQ resources required on projects through engagement with PMs and HRBP.
  • Perform regular site visits to vessels incl. in-field and provide feedback to Site and vessel managers and PMs.
  • Ensure project compliance with Contractor and Company policies and procedures.
  • Provide incident support to project teams by liaising with the medical response team, Offshore Construction Manager (OCM) and Project leads.
  • Organize incident review sessions based on the Incident Review Matrix
  • Advise on HSE legislation and liaise with regulatory bodies, where required.
  • Review statistics, and issue monthly reports to required departments and heads.
  • Conduct Management Reviews of the project HSE management system monthly to ensure the project HSE management system is functioning as designed.
  • Liaise with Company on HSE matters and support the regional HSEQ Manager / Project Managers at meetings as required.

QUALIFICATIONS / CERTIFICATIONS:
  • Degree in Engineering

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE:
  • Minimum of fifteen (15) years working experience in the Oil and Gas industry, with ten (10) years in an offshore role, and five (5) years in management role
