Paragon GE is looking for a Reservoir Engineer for a staff position with an Oil & Gas Operating company in the UK.
The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 2-5 years relevant experience, experience of offshore developments, reservoir modelling and reservoir simulations.

Purpose of the Role:
- Support the Senior Reservoir Engineer in the production forecasting, reserves assessment and provision of general reservoir engineering expertise.
- He/she reviews the potential output of the field based on potential development activities and strategically assesses the implications of the field potential.
- He/she provides reservoir engineering support for drilling and production operations. The scope covers tasks from well and field data preparation and review at well pick stage to operations and well performance monitoring at production stage.
- This responsibility involves tasks such as multi-discipline data analysis and data acquisition planning and execution follow-up.
Job Function:
- Support the Senior reservoir Engineer for the creation, development and maintenance of
- Assist of developing the required forecasts for non-operated fields assessments (either
- Complete field development plans including documentation, representation and execution.
- Take on role of operations engineer when required to do so.
- As a team member responsible for the development of forecasts (production/reserves) and
- Coordinate and support surface operations and facility engineering departments in all aspects of reservoir development planning, field performance and well optimisation studies.

Qualification & Experience:
- University degree / MSc in petroleum engineering or relevant technical discipline.
- At least 2 to 5 years experiences in sector and full-field reservoir simulation work for
- Reservoir Modelling experience
- Operating experience in international locations like West Africa, Middle East
- Strong trouble-shooting IT skills with dynamic simulators (eg. Eclipse),
- Good working experience with large spreadsheets (eg. Excel)
- Strong analytical skills
- Good working knowledge of uncertainty and risk analysis and good presentation skills.
